Our Latest Projects

Curriculum

We are proud to be working with our own curriculum for creative engineering, robotics and coding, based on story-led tech adventures online and offline. We’re convinced that learning happens best through curiosity and excitement and that’s what we’re striving for. It’s not important to know everything, what matters is the will to explore as much as possible, question what we observe and the flexibility to challenge our beliefs.

Team Projects

In our project-based classes kids, teens, and young adults have the opportunity to realize their very own inventions, using all sorts of different mediums, methods and materials. Some of the latest inventions included: a “Breakfast Making Machine” T., 11yrs, an “Alarmed Safe for Sweets and Other Secrets” M., 12yrs, a “Feedback Bird for Measuring Air Quality” E. 15yrs, an “Automated Dog Feeder” L. 13yrs and others…

Competitions

We’re a passionate part of the World Robot Olympiad-universe and have mentored, guided and judged throughout two seasons on regional, national as well as international levels, with the World Finals in 2022 being an amazing highlight and great honor to be part of. Besides the WRO we can also be found in contexts of the First competitions, Vex, and many other youth robotics competitions. If you’re curious, reach out!

Inventions & Collaborations

Besides teaching and competing we are also busy working with you! The latest collaborations were all about the future of fashion - a wearable tech build for green energy and connectivity that lights up your days. An interactive installation as wearable art piece (details coming soon). Also, a magical illusion worn on the catwalks of tomorrow, conceptualized by the German designer Arutti, whose works never fail to impress with the fusion of architecture and fashion and a future technological twist that unites us in our vision. Meet us at Fashion Week.

Training

We`re always looking to expand our horizons and deepen our expertise, searching for new ways to approach the traditional and apply proven techniques to the challenges of tomorrow. In an effort to stay cognitively flexible and up to date in the fast-paced nature of the branch, further training is a matter of course. Our most recent subjects of training included:
Psychology of Innovation (SIDI)
Space Design and Architecture (SIDI)
3-D Printed Garments (Studio)
Computational Neuroscience (University of Washington).

Pi in the Sky

…is the name of our little zine which celebrates the diverse talents and boundless possibilities in our beautifully vibrant community, intertwining the realms of science, design, and storytelling in a haptically thrilling format - riso printed food for thought coming soon!

In the meantime, don't miss out on our insightful blog and monthly newsletter, where we share our latest discoveries and are featuring a different student's creation each month, showcasing their innovative journey and inspiring perspective.
